Battle of the Blades is a Canadian reality show and figure skating competition that airs on CBC television. The concept of the show is to pair hockey players with figure skating champions and pit them against each other in a pairs competition. For the 5th edition of this competition, held in the fall of 2019, the former New York Islanders color bearer is teaming up with double Olympic champion Ekaterina (Katia) Gordeeva. The Moscow native won pairs gold at the Calgary Games in 1988 and Lillehammer, Norway in 1994.
Among the seven competing duos, Bruno and Ekataria’s duo made it to the final. Bruno Gervais had pledged to donate the sums raised to the Gervais Talbot Foundation. The latter amounted to $ 15,000.
